You opened multiple feature requests around this dialog. Mint does not control or develop these. They are provided by whatever toolkit the application is written in. That's why you will see slightly different ones if you are using apps built with gtk2, gtk3, gtk4, qt, etc. I will be closing all of these since this isn't something we actually develop. |

When you try and open or save a file in an application, there is a dialog window. There is no 'bookmarks' dropdown or (optional) bookmarks-toolbar. This would speed up navigating to the location.
Many users are using 'places' instead of bookmarks. But when working in folder-tree-view most of the time, I would need to scroll to find them. Or press something to show the places-list and scroll those. An option toolbar would make that a 1 click-action, and would work faster as one would intuitively know where in the toolbar the desired bookmark is, without scrolling and looking for it in a places-list. Also when one has a particular looooong list of places, bookmarks and a bookmarks bar (like in Konquerer) becomes very handy indeed.
