I'll back this as well. It's a very standard piece of gamer advice to disable mouse acceleration both within games and in the OS for more consistent mouse movement, yet doing that permanently in Linux Mint requires config file edits (which ones exactly seem to confuse the forums, and guides for other distros don't seem to work), and what exactly the current settings do aren't remotely clear at a glance. |

The only options currently listed for mouse acceleration are "Device default", "Constant", and "Adaptive". It doesn't seem like any of these options turn off mouse acceleration.
I Googled a bit to look for answers, doesn't seem like there's a convenient way to turn off mouse acceleration in Linux Mint. Seems like a pretty normal OS setting that should be supported in System Settings.
