While it is unofficial, there is a Debian repository of sorts for getting software like VirtualBox in a stable fashion called FastTrack and there is wiki documentation for it here. This typically takes the packages from sources like sid/unstable and backports them to the Stable branches. Given that LMDE is based on these stable branches of Debian, you should be able to use this when it supports the latest Debian. Given some of the complexity that is involved in packaging VirtualBox, FastTrack is probably the better option. |

I know Debian doesn't have virtualbox in its repositories so I'm hoping you can add it to LMDE 7's? Currently I have to add Oracle's virtualbox repository and download from that. I'd prefer that Linux Mint keeps an eye on the repository instead of Oracle.
