Ability to change the color and size of the window shadows

All,
I've recently switched to a dark theme Cinnamon desktop due to my deteriorating vision issues and Iv'e noticed that I have a really hard time telling apart which window is at the front and has focus. This is because the window shadows that Mutter uses are black in color and with a dark theme, they're invisible basically.

Could you make an option to change the color of the window shadows?
And could you give us an option to change the size/intensity of shadows (say, pixel dimensions etc)?

As workaround, have you tried some other theme for Mint?

• settings>themes>advanced settings
• pling

Also, I'd suggest some more precautions:

• stay away from the screen at least 1 meter or more (eventually get a bigger screen, min. 27' )
• limit your work time with PC's (max 6-8 hours)
• use a pomodoro time plan to relax your mind and eyes (there are apps or Mint applets)
• use a screen reader; if you read lots of books (settings>accessibility settings)
