Hi! I have the same issue since one week. I'm stuck in linuxmint 20.1. I'm in France I don't know if it could be linked. I don't know how to change the mirror on an install. It switch automatically back on packages.linuxmint.com. Thanks for your help. |

Hello!
I performed a clean install on a new machine and, when trying to perform system updates for the first time, the process fails.
Looking for what's causing this error, I discovered that the main repository server (packages.linuxmint.com) is inaccessible.
Looks like the current Internet Protocol connectivity for this server is missing.

I could switch to another mirror but I believe of helping the whole userbase and not only me as an individual.
Could you please investigate what's happening and provide a fix as soon as you can? I'm willing to provide further information and do testing from my end, if that's the case.
