Please update the system package for dolphin. It is realy outdated.
version 23.08.5, from a couple of years ago. The current version 25.04.2 is way more stable.

Mint is an LTS distro. This comes with the territory. If you want much newer versions, an LTS probably isn't the right choice.

Like JosephMcc said, Mint is LTS which means system packages are stuck in that version until the next major release.
This needs to be this way in order to maintain compatibility upstream.
I do notice they have a Flatpak image.
Isn't that an option for you?
