Did you add the second NVME? |

Yes, I added the second NVME, I moved it from my previous Thinkpad to the E16. The new E16 booted the Mint installed on the old Thinkpad without a problem (except for the undetected mic). The M.2 slots have different sizes, I think one is a 2242, I added a 2280. Both can take only one specific size. |

Thanks to Harald I ordered essentially the same computer except for the display. I was not able to get one without Windows 11. I ordered a second NVMe drive (Crucial 1 TB, 2280 form factor) for Mint. Following instructions at https://dtptips.com/the-complete-guide-to-dual-booting-windows-and-linux-on-separate-drives/, I removed the original SSD, turned off Safe Boot, booted a live session from USB, and installed Mint on the new SSD. I then reinstalled the original SSD. To boot Windows I have to reactivate Safe Boot for now. All works well with Mint 22.1. |
