Just here to say that this exact thing happens often on my Linux Mint Cinnamon too. It's hard to exactly say when it happens so it's difficult to talk about the reproducibility. My System info:
There are a lot of others that are facing this issue as seen here. If this is the wrong place to post about this issue kindly suggest where to post about it. (I think Cinnamon-menu or Nemo is more appropriate?) |

I can confirm this bug. For me it happened a few times in the last days/weeks. I even opened an issue how to reproduce this bug but mysteriously the entry has disappeared or been moved so that I can no longer find it. In this video you can see how to reproduce the bug: reproduce.mp4All you have to do is copy a folder with as much data as possible and leave the context menu open while the copy process is running. The context menu will then expand or shrink and entries will disappear. I suspect it has something to do with the fact that the folder is selected during the copy process and therefore other context menu entries are available than if you open the context menu without having selected a file. But I don't know enough about what happens behind the scenes. Others will have to find out. Videoquality sucks as it is recorded in a VM but you can sell all the relevant steps. @viadesolo If possible can you change the title of the issue to something clear and specific? Like Right-click menu entries disappear randomly ? Also I want to point out that in this particular bug it seems that it's always the same 4 entries that disappear (considering your nemo-actions are configured and layout is the same):
Idk what it means but maybe it points to where the underlying bug is arising from. |

It happens so rarely and randomly, but not frequently. Sometimes after exiting from some apps (not when minimizing them) and on right-click on the desktop, the items in the second column disappear (1st image). But if I right-click again, it appears normal (2nd image). No other issues before or after happening this. Any insights?
