Defaulting to the lowest possible refresh rate is a good and safe strategy, because it ensures things work. |

Currently, when selecting a disabled monitor, its refresh rate will default to the lowest available value. In my setup, I have both a monitor and a TV connected to my PC. When I intend to play video games on my TV (max 60hz), I will usually disable my monitor (max 165hz) so that it goes into standby, saves on electricity, and isn't glowing brightly in the corner of my vision.
However, when I perform this switch, my TV defaults to 30hz. Conversely, when I want to switch back to my monitor, it defaults to its lowest available value of 60hz. It would be a nice time saver to tell the display app to just default to the highest available refresh rate each time.
