@newville I would certainly prefer to keep those as that will result in high-quality, scalable images in the documentation. As far as I know the only place where SVG images are not used is in the Examples Gallery. I would like to use it there as well but back in the days when I spent quite some time on this, there was no (easy) way to accomplish that. I can take another look and see if |

@reneeotten OK. I guess I don't see a huge difference in image quality. And it seems like it is used in only a few cases. Should it be used more consistently? |

@reneeotten Thanks -- I meant in the overall docs. Like, if I want to add or change examples, it seems I should be using For "what to add to the docs", I think it might be helpful to start with a more Model-based introduction. The main docs are pretty formally based on Parameters and Minimize, and a "gentle introduction to curve-fitting with Model" might be overdue. |
