I wasn't familiar with the meaning of "collate". Is it equivalent to what's explained on this? If so, the collation is a printing concern. Modifying a PDF’s page structure to suit printing purposes goes beyond the document’s intended role. Since Marp’s PDF output is primarily intended for a real presentation use, this feels out of scope from Marp. For collating or modifying PDF pages, you can pipe marp markdown.md --pdf | pdftk - cat 1-end 1-end 1-end output collated.pdfPlease let us know if this is not what you intended. |

So far from my experience, Marp PDF generation will only be singular unless an attempt done in Firefox-based browser to collate it. The best way for me to collate PDF for now is through browser. Such solution requires manual mouse interaction in which takes some time.
So I'd open a suggestion to do slideshow collation for PDF generation. In this regard, I expect Marp to has a flag that will help to collate slides in pdf by mentioning the number of pages, the direction, the page orientation and the margin if needed, so pages can be easily collated through the marp-cli during export. Mostly I expect this to be available only in marp-cli unless there's a good way to put this in Visual Studio Code.
I hope this feature suggestion or request doesn't appear to be neither too much, too hard, nor too ruling. Thank you for letting me writing this suggestion. Hope this software can gets better day by day.
Best Regards.
