I am trying to run content server on my local machine to browse the documentations locally... but it fails to load any page with the mentioned error page...

yarn install firstly and then

1. yarn run info:rari && env CONTENT_ROOT=files BUILD_OUT_ROOT=build npx rari-build
2. yarn run info:rari && yarn up-to-date-check && env CONTENT_ROOT=files REACT_APP_DISABLE_AUTH=true BUILD_OUT_ROOT=build npx rari-server :

mentioned error in my original post is happening in localhost:8080
but localhost:5042 results in:

Thanks for the info. For the record, you should be able to start the server with:

node -v
# v20.17.0
yarn -v
# 1.22.22
git clone --depth 1 https://github.com/mdn/content.git
cd content
yarn && yarn start
# Visit http://localhost:5042/

I can't reproduce this with the commands you're running, so it's best to open a rari bug at https://github.com/mdn/rari/issues/new?template=bug.yml

I would close the discussion here -> the rari repo is the better place for this. Don't forget to include:

• OS version
• node version
• Steps to reproduce
