GT-U7 will not find sats

I've wired up the GT-U7 GPS module to my HeltecV3 according to the instructions listed in the meshtastic site with the mosfet transistor. I am able to power up and down the GPS as indicated in the instructions and prompts on the display screen indicating that it is either on or off. However, the unit is unable to locate any satellites. I'm not familiar with the GPS unit and I'm not sure if the GPS needs to be flashed with some sort of codes to make it recognize region and the like?

If you can provide some logs we can help take a look at what's going on.

1. Go to https://flasher.meshtastic.org/
2. Restart your HeltecV3
3. Go to "Open Serial Monitor"
4. Wait 15mins and then Download the logs and paste here.

After hours of skimming the net, reddit had the most information on this topic. It winds up being the reversal of the txd and rxd pins in the software that did the trick. This simple item is what was left out of EVERY instruction that one could find anywhere. Frustrating.
Yes, the serial monitor function is what eluded me to figuring out the above action item.
