For RAKwireless WisBlock Meshtastic Starter Kit US915 Base RAK19007 plus Core RAK4631, LCD Device Driver SS1306 for RAK1921 micro LCD. I wish to use a 2.42 inch 128x64 OLED LCD Display Module which requires drive for SSD1309. I don't have very good vision and the tiny LCDs have to be read with a magnifying glass.

No. Manufacturers don't cooperate. They do whatever they want, and then you have to try to make it work.
No one is considering making equipment with a decent power supply. The power consumption difference between RAK and heltec is almost 500%!
There is no one to talk to about a keyboard, a larger screen (not necessarily more pixels) or a solar panel.
Pine64 announced a collaboration and that was the end of it. etc etc

It has built in 6000mAh lithium battery(2 18650 batteries inside) and 5W solar panel. It can act as the Router-Repeater Role. Do you have interested in that?
What does 'The power consumption difference between RAK and heltec is almost 500%!' mean? RAK and heltec modules are 5 times power consumption than they declaimed.
