Did you mean to write: github/micropython/ports/esp32/build-GENERIC_C3/firmware.bin? It appears you built:
./build_GENERIC/firmware.bin
and there is a size difference. esptool uploaded 1451664 bytes while your build looks like it generated 1484416 bytes.
