Wifi Unknown Error 0x0101

Can anyone help me with this error. I am getting it on ESP32 DevKit V1.

I really do not even know where to start looking. Any help would be valuable!

The ESP IDF runtime error, 0x101, is ESP_ERR_NO_MEM. This probably indicates that the IDF has allocated or is unable to allocate sufficient memory for the network stack or buffers. Are you doing anything else before importing this module that may cause the IDF to require a lot of memory. I believe there may be a method to reserve more memory for the IDF on esp32, but I dont know the current method for this.

Thank you for the response. I have searched around and it seems like the problem is also what you have pointed out.

And to answer you yes, I am creating modbus transmiter class handler before it. And if I turn them arount then modbus transmiter class init fails.

The way I have been able to solve it for now is like this:

  from modules import modbus_transmitter
  modbus_transmitter.ModbusTransmitter()

  import gc
  gc.collect()

  from modules import network
  network.wifi_reset()
