OAuth App access restriction on micropython org.

When trying to open a GitHub Workspace, that use codespaces on the micropython/micropython repo I encounter an error:

Error connecting to codespace: Although you appear to have the correct authorization credentials, the `micropython` organization has enabled OAuth App access restrictions, meaning that data access to third-parties is limited.

Is this intentional ?,
and if so, what is the process to consider adding GitHub workspace / codespaces as a trusted application ?
