USB Line printer text only. 1MB storage, for debugging purpose

Maybe my phantasy, is riding away.
With micropython is a lot possible, already. My idea, is to use a raspi Pico 2W as a line printer for text only. Storage is possible, and enough. I dont need everything on real paper.
a buzzer could make alarm, when in the stored text warnings appear.

Is it possible, to appear as an USB-printer? lp0

Do I understand correctly that you have some sort of software running that usually outputs to a printer, but you would like to read that output with a Pico instead?
Instead of trying to get the Pico to emulate some specific printer, can you instead change the printer driver on your computer to be a "Serial printer"? Then the Pico would just have to behave as a serial port, which it already does when running Micropython.
You should then be able to just read from the sys.stdin stream.
