D1 Mini 8x8 Matrix RGB-LED shield

I noticed this morning that there is a brand new shield listed on Wemos's website. Unlike the older 8x8 monochrome (orange) LED shield (SPI) and the older 7-RGB-LED shield (Neopixel), the new one is sort of a mix of both, an 8x8-RGB-LED: https://www.wemos.cc/en/latest/d1_mini_shield/8x8_rgb.html

Like the 7-RGB shield, it also appears to be a Neopixel. Presumably it is programmed in exactly the same way (not that I own or have otherwise worked with the 7-RGB-LED or any other Neopixel before). I see that there is a neopixel library built into MicroPython, so it seems like this would be pretty easy to get going.
