The issue is I wanted the slack mcp to be connected with my slack workspace. For that i created a bot with the permissions as per the instructions given in the readme file.
After that i wanted to send a message to a person let say "hi" but it was giving me error that not able to find that person, I even also gave the channel Id of that person. I have logged in my account in the slack desktop.

I'm having the same issue. Slack mcp connection was established but asking a question from slack won't return anything. Also even after adding the slack app to a channel and give it permission of channels:history and channels:read, from the llm side it still cannot get channel recent history:

Agent: I sent a greeting message to the channel "<channel_name>" successfully.

However, I encountered an issue while trying to fetch the recent history from the channel. It seems the channel could not be found. Can you confirm the channel ID or provide additional details to help resolve this?
