Hi @runekaagaard , we don't actually support the Claude Desktop here. One way you can share feedback for the app is through the Feedback link in the Claude app: Menu >> Help >> Submit Feedback |

Hi,
I get why you want to make Claude Desktop easier for non-devs, but replacing "Allow for chat" with just "Allow always" is problematic:
I absolutely NEVER want "Allow always" - even basic tools might not stay safe forever across all use cases. A simple search that would be totally safe in some chats could accidentally expose sensitive info if I'd granted file access earlier without realizing it. It's too naive to think all chats will have the same security level.
"Allow for chat" gives me session-based control when I need it while still being convenient when I'm working with non-sensitive stuff.
There's AFAIK no way to revoke "Allow always" in the UI! You have to completely reinstall Claude and clear data folders - that's a massive hassle.
Please keep the "Allow for chat" option, and a way to revoke "Allow always" AND "Allow for chat" confirmations. It's important for balancing usability with security.
