Audiobook Tagging and Playback

Greetings Music Assistant Community.

Setup:
I am having an issue with playing audiobooks. I have gathered all the files for an audiobooks in flac format and tagged them using picard and added a folder with the files using the local storage provider.

Issue:
The audiobook is structured in multiple discs with a few tracks each. When I go to play track 5 of disc 3 it starts to play track 5 of disc 1. It seems to always take the track number and play the corresponding disc 1 track. I can scroll through the timeline when I open up the active player popover though which tells me that somewhere it knows how all the chapters should fit together.

I've tried adding subfolders as (optionally) specified in the documentation (Disc 1, Disc 2 ...) but the outcome is the same. Is there something I am missing in the tagging step? Or have I found a bug?

You should just be selecting the audiobook from the audiobook view and it will pick up from where you left off. Are you trying to do this from the browse view?

I think I have a fix for this. Can you make available track 1 disc 1 and track 1 disc 2 somehow so I can download it and test the fix.

Actually I have used a multi disc music album to test this. The difference you will see is all tracks will be number sequentially. That is, the numbers will not restart at 1 when the next disc is read. So in the screenshot above instead of seeing 1-8 and 1-3 you will see 1-11

Using your tracks works locally for me. This fix will roll out to you in a couple of weeks unless you are using he nightly or beta when it will be already available.You will probably have to remove the audiobook from the library and then let it get imported again
