Only Mutate Nodes on Create

I'm new to gatekeeper. I looked through the documentation but wasn't able to find a clear answer to this. Hopefully someone can help...

How can I configure gatekeeper to only mutate nodes when they are created? I'm using it to add taints to nodes, but I only want those taints to be added to the nodes when the nodes are initially created. I do not want gatekeeper to continue auditing the nodes and re-applying the taint if it is removed.
