One of our prospective journals, which uses OJS, has asked about the ability to contact / send announcements to the entirety and/or subgroups within their database of journal users. Throwing this out there in case anyone else might find this useful.

One of our prospective journals, which uses OJS, has asked about the ability to contact / send announcements to the entirety and/or subgroups within their database of journal users. Throwing this out there in case anyone else might find this useful.

This is something that has been discussed at length and something that we haven't been keen to workon as in the UK GDPR is in effect and this makes managing this process difficult and puts the regulatory issues firmly on us.
