Using .local domains inside containers

Let's say I have two Docker Compose projects turtles and ducks, and each is running a webserver — their OrbStack domains are:

• web.turtles.orb.local
• web.ducks.orb.local

The ducks project has another service that is trying to make API requests to turtles's webserver. Is there any way to leverage OrbStack's domain resolution within that container, so it can resolve requests to web.turtles.orb.local? Or would my only option be placing the two on a shared network and manually mapping the domain to the target container's IP with extra_hosts?
