Style Guide/Formatting/etc?

Is there a style guide? I do not see one.

With the absence of a style guide, it seems likely to at least rely on the settings/rules defined in this repo [ ex: linter ]. That appears to be ruff.

And, if that's the case, I imagine we should then have ruff [ and whatever else ] run as part of pre-commit and a GH Action? See: #312 and #309
