Portainer as subpath asset not loaded

I want run portainer as subpath, like https://my-domain.com/portainer

my docker-compose.yml looks like:

portainer:
        image: portainer/portainer-ce:latest
        container_name: portainer
        restart: unless-stopped
        tty: true
        command: -H unix:///var/run/docker.sock --base-url="/portainer" 
        security_opt:
            - no-new-privileges:true
        volumes:
            - /etc/localtime:/etc/localtime:ro
            - /var/run/docker.sock:/var/run/docker.sock:ro
            - ./volumes/portainer/data:/data

and nginx.conf looks like:

location /portainer/ {
        set $portainer portainer:9000;

        proxy_pass http://$portainer/;
        proxy_http_version 1.1;
        proxy_set_header Host $host;
        proxy_set_header X-Real-IP $remote_addr;

I have a similar config with Traefik and similar behaviour :

    command: -H unix:///var/run/docker.sock --base-url="/portainer" # if you want to serve Portainer under a subpath
    restart: always
    volumes:
      - /var/run/docker.sock:/var/run/docker.sock
    #  - portainer_data:/data
    labels:
      - traefik.http.routers.portainer.rule=PathPrefix(`/portainer`)
      - traefik.http.services.portainer.loadbalancer.server.port=9000
      - traefik.http.routers.portainer.entrypoints=websecure
      - traefik.http.routers.portainer.tls=true
      - traefik.http.routers.portainer.middlewares=portainer-stripprefix
      - traefik.http.middlewares.portainer-stripprefix.stripprefix.prefixes=/portainer
    ports:
      - 9443:9443

It seems that the option --base-url="portainer" is not being applied.
I can correctly access the page via port 9443, but no base URL (/portainer) appears in the links or assets.
(portainer_data is intentionally commented out to ensure there’s no side effect from any existing configuration.)

I have the same problem after upgrading to 2.33.0
It was working with 2.22.0
