Send Limit - on Messages or Delivery Attempts?

One more from me please: when we configure the Send Limit (default = unlimited) do re-delivery attempts count toward that limit? And if so, is it possible to configure Postal so that only unique messages are counted toward the limit?

I don't believe that redelivery attempts would count towards that limit because its still the same message if that makes sense, I would bet that it is already counting unique messages and now how many times it has been sent.

I don't use that setting so I don't know for sure off the top of my head.

I have just established that each Soft Fail of a single email is counted towards the Send Limit. You can see 5 Soft Sails of the same letter, and 5 outgoing messages. (There is no any other activity on this server).
