Unable to pair Xbox 1708 with 42160 project

Very strange thing - the hub was flashed properly, the sample program Driving the LEGO® Technic Audi RS Q e-tron (42160) with the Xbox ControllerDriving the LEGO® Technic Audi RS Q e-tron (42160) with the Xbox Controller looks working fine (initialization pass), BT generally works but it does not pair with the controller. I've got two 1708's, both works fine with xbox and even my iphone.

The procedure I use: turn on the controller, set to pairing mode (fast, regular led blinking), turn on the hub, wait several seconds (just in case), trun on the program (steering activates) and wait.... nothing :(

Are you able to update your controller with the Xbox itself, or using the Xbox Accessories app for Windows?

Yep... that was the problem
I'm a linux user, but update via xbox did the job. I assumed that since I use controllers with the console regularly, they would update in the background (as M$ tends to do;) )

BTW - the idea and implementation are awesome!
