Is it possible to ignore package hashes while installing a new package?

I am getting the following error:

Retrieved digest for link <package-name>-0.4.6.tar.gz(md5:353868461d82e737a51205f8d83174ad) not in poetry.lock metadata ['sha256:5a631a4e7ae78e499907585c824b2fef742906eb3f19f022bc7570be29a42b12', 'sha256:62ebca29f36832cf32a8ec3ca0467e4bb549d68b7ba0bafa81c8d337b04c9306']

I've seen some issues discussing this error and a few possible solutions. One possible solution I have not seen would be for poetry to not compare hashes when installing a new package, is it possible to configure poetry to do that?
