Dimension API

Ideas for a minimal standard Dimension API.

I admit a bit of confusion as to what this even looks like. Would it be a essentially the same as a Unit just without a multiplier or any potential offset?

I would hope that the API has enough methods to implement a https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buckingham_π_theorem solver.
I haven't thought deeply about the specific set of required methods.
I see that pint has a Buckingham pi module...

And without conversions, .dimensionality

The purpose of this is api to provide an object that can be returned from .dimensionality and used for dimensionality checking
