trigger form dirty state with useeffect on change with controller?

Hi,

I had made a sandbox describing my code
The reason for this pattern is because I intend to trigger form dirty state using a custom component that isn't an input

unfortunately it seems dirty fields at form level isn't trigger in this pattern. Please kindly advise
