Discriminated union default types typescript

Hello.

I want to use zod with RHK, and I need to pass some default values, they differ quite a bit but it is a discriminated union. Not sure how to approach this... Any insight?

      address: {
        addressType: AddressTypes.inCountry,
        city: null,
        street: null,
        phoneNumberPrefix: null,
      },

 OR

      address: {
        addressType: AddressTypes.abroad,
        city: "",
        street: "",
        phoneNumberPrefix: "",
        foreignCountry: {country: null, unitedStatesState: null},
      },

I am not sure what the hecks going on, but I managed to solve it by putting .default() from zod on every field.
RHK still thinks the values are undefined, but zod ignores the undefined and treats a field as if it has the default value.

Oh and I am passing RHK's useForm() defaultValues only for the discriminated union initial value.
