Can isValid from trigger() Be Used to Determine Form Validation Status ?

Can we use the isValid result from the trigger() method within the onSubmit function to determine the form's validation status and then conditionally proceed with handling form data? Here’s an example of what I’m trying to achieve:

async function onSubmit(formData) {
  const isValid = await trigger(); // Validate all fields
  if (isValid) {
    handleFormData(formData); // Proceed with valid data
  }
}

Questions:

1. Is this approach recommended for determining the form’s validation status during submission?
2. If supported, are there any specific scenarios or edge cases where this approach might not work as intended?
3. Is there a better way to perform such validation and then handle valid form functionality without redundantly rechecking the form’s state?
