Move i3 bar to the top on Ubuntu 22.04

I ran system updates yesterday after a long while. Today after loggin in the i3 bar appears at the bottom. Has the config changed somehow? Or should it be located somewhere else?

This is my set-up:

In the Xresources doc page there is now this warning:

Regolith version 3.0 onward replaces “i3-wm” with “wm” in Xresource keys.

This could be an obvious culprit, so I modified the file to:

$ cat ~/.config/regolith2/Xresources
regolith.look.path: /usr/share/regolith-look/lascaille
wm.bar.position:	top
wm.bar.font:	BitstreamVeraSansMono Nerd Font 11
gtk.monospace_font_name:	BitstreamVeraSansMono Nerd Font 11

gtk.font_name:	Bitstream Vera Sans 10

But the i3 bar remains at the bottom. Any thoughts?

Here's what happened. The system update yesterday installed Regolith version 3. However, the update did not modify the configuration folder, it remained in ~/.config/regolith2. Once I manually moved that folder to ~/.config/regolith3 the i3 bar returned to its natural place.

One thing I cannot explain is why some other settings in the Xresources file (e.g. regolith.look.path) were being loaded.
