1. Install Rust 1.88, protoc, flatc
2. Download https://dl.rustfs.com/artifacts/console/rustfs-console-latest.zip
3. git clone [email protected]:rustfs/rustfs.git
4. Unzip rustfs-console-latest.zip to: unzip -o console.zip -d ./rustfs/static
5. cargo build --release

Could you explain the fourth step a little more specifically?
I use unzip rustfs-console-latest.zip -d ./rustfs/static , but when I run rustfs, the web console cannot show up on http://127.0.0.1/rustfs/console

can i build on my pc (macos) first, then upload the rustfs to the server to run?

If you don't need the console functionality, you don't need to unzip console.zip in the specified folder.
