There are (at least) two ways of showing flatpak Tuner with translated strings - one is to just display the translation of the language the environment is set to, the other is to allow a manual choice from a drop down.
The mechanism these choices use determines the packaging of the app, with the former allowing flatpak/flathub to automatically deploy the appropriate .Locale with the app, but there would be no manual choice outside of changing the language within the environment.
The later choice, packaging all the translations with the app, adds about 150K to the package size, requires an extra widget, but I am not sure if it would be used.
