Can't load more than 78 images in dataset

Hello,

I have a dataset, containing images, they are about 500kb. When I select all images, around 200 and upload them into dataset, this results in just 78 images uploaded, when I try to upload 1 image more, it takes forever, it stays in 95%. And I have not reached the 100gb limit.

Where can I troubleshoot?

-What browser/OS you’re using and whether it reproduces in another browser
-Approximate file count/sizes and a small subset that consistently reproduces the issue (e.g., 10–20 images)
-Any visible console/network errors from the browser dev tools (screenshots are fine)

If the Ultralytics Platform upload stalls around 95% and you only see a partial image count, it’s usually because one or more files fail server-side processing (corrupt/unsupported color mode/too small) or the browser struggles with many individual file uploads; please try uploading the same images as a single ZIP archive (limit 10GB) and then open the dataset’s Errors tab to see the specific files that were rejected (the processing steps and common error causes are described in the Ultralytics Platform Datasets docs). If the Errors tab is empty but it still hangs, paste the text from your browser DevTools Console/Network for the stuck upload and share your browser + OS so we can pinpoint whether it’s a client/network issue.

Thank you very much Glenn, based on your response I checked the image properties, and the issue was the image size, they were 3228 x 3072 pixels, I resized them to half and was able to upload!

Glad you tracked it down — if you want to catch upload/processing blockers ahead of time, you can validate a zipped dataset locally (it will flag common issues like unsupported color modes and images below the 28px minimum) before uploading to Ultralytics Platform; see the Platform dataset upload & validation docs.

If it happens again, try packaging the images into a single ZIP (max 10GB) and after processing check the dataset’s Errors tab to see which files were rejected; the Ultralytics Platform dataset docs cover supported formats/limits, and if you still see it hanging at ~95% please paste your browser/OS plus any DevTools Console/Network error text here so we can narrow it down.
