macos error on output directory trying touse batch mode

i had this working normally,then something changed, which can only attribute to apple, since they are notoriously destroying the beauty of what os x once was. so in batch mode, i select input directory. then i select output directory, and now... input has changed to output and it simply will not run, instead errors. any way i can fix this? or am i just ruined on this

This is a known bug in Upscayl 2.15.0 on macOS (and Windows) where, in batch mode, the input directory can change to match the output directory, causing errors like "Input path and Output path both must be either a file or a directory!" or preventing the process from running. This often happens if the 'Double-Upscayl' setting was enabled in single mode and not disabled before switching to batch mode.

You can fix or work around this by:

• Disabling the 'Double-Upscayl' option in single mode before switching to batch mode
• Always selecting the input directory first, then the output directory
• Resetting the app before using batch mode
• If the GUI keeps failing, you can use the command line interface for batch processing instead
