Hi @OLE-STANKYakaSNEAKY-FINGERS! I'm Dosu and I’m helping the upscayl team. This is a known bug in Upscayl 2.15.0 on macOS (and Windows) where, in batch mode, the input directory can change to match the output directory, causing errors like "Input path and Output path both must be either a file or a directory!" or preventing the process from running. This often happens if the 'Double-Upscayl' setting was enabled in single mode and not disabled before switching to batch mode. You can fix or work around this by:

i had this working normally,then something changed, which can only attribute to apple, since they are notoriously destroying the beauty of what os x once was. so in batch mode, i select input directory. then i select output directory, and now... input has changed to output and it simply will not run, instead errors. any way i can fix this? or am i just ruined on this
