First of all, I love yamada-ui, it gives me the old chakra ui vibes, and it is a good UI component library.
The issue with this library is that it is usually inconsistent with the design. The design also doesn't match the hype, where all of the component libraries are redesigning themselves due to the immense popularity of the shadcn-ui design library.
Shadcn-ui uses small typography and compact design system compare to the other component libraries, which gives it a modern and clean feel, and the way I am seeing all of the libraries moving to almost same system design feels like the shadcn-ui's design is acting as a base for all of the other component libraries. And I feel the same with the yamada-ui, most of the components are being redesigned with compact padding like the badges, checkboxes, etc (for atleast what I am seeing with the home-page and some of the components). But most of them still has the same design like the previous version, with a big text and huge paddings, while I respect the maintainers for what they are doing, I think that we need to update those components to match compact design like other libraries.
I feel that the compact design is new revolution in the component library for web.
