OTP or Password protect sharing links

It would be highly beneficial to enhance the orthanc-auth-service by adding support for protecting shared access links with either a one-time password (OTP) or a manually defined password.
This would significantly improve the security of temporary or public access to studies, series, or individual DICOM files, especially when sharing with external clinicians or patients via email or messaging platforms.

Yes, that makes a lot of sense.

Note that we have just improved the "token-landing-page" in OE2 and we now have the option to add an intermediate step where the user can select to open the viewer or download the study -> that would be the right place to enter and check for a password.

Password could be encrypted in the JWT (not only signed) to avoid a DB to store the passwords.

No planned date for implementation - likely when one of our customers will request it...
