Screen wake-up and time out for iPhone

The screen time out feature that turns-on the screen when using Navigation is currently not available for iPhone. The purpose of this feature is to reduce power consumption and also protect the screen from potential burn-in when displaying the same content over extended periods of time. The same effect can be achieved by simply overlaying a black screen from within the app. Since most phones nowadays are AMOLED displaying a black overlay over the entire screen would not consume any power from the display. If done within the app it would not require system permissions from iOS, it would be snappier and give better control of this feature.
