You're right.
Tried the nightly on a phone and there's no cropping... 🤔

I couldn’t reproduce this on my side. It most likely depends on the display size / font scaling (tablet layout). Could you please try changing Display size and Font size in your device settings and check if the cropping appears/disappears?

It needs to go down to almost the smallest font size to not appearing cropped.
But that's too small for generally use.

Best for comfortable use would be size 4 (out of 8), but that's pretty cropped then.
