Cant ping #295

Describe the bug
I type the IP address of my desktop into the field, press ping, and it times out consistently
To Reproduce
Open app
Type in IP address
Press ping
Have it fail
Expected behavior
It being able to ping
Smartphone (please complete the following information):
- Device: Samsung A32 4G
- OS: Android 13, One UI 5.1
Additional context
Fails even if i have VPN off, not that i expected it to change anything because i have allowed LAN traffic, but there you go.
I can ping from the desktop and reach any services i have running on the desktop, from the phone. I have internet access, i have local access even with the VPN, as far as i can tell its only vernet thats unable to reach the desktop.
