[Encryption Key] Still can't see the E2E encryption key (despite #751 being closed)

When you start an encrypted chat, it appears encrypted, but you cannot see the encryption key from the desktop, therefore it is probably not encrypted.

I must assume that when I see an encryption key from a phone to a desktop on a phone, that this key is with a man in the middle.

I understand that the mac desktop client is a third party application, but it is wild that it appears as if the chat is encrypted, and that from my phone I can see an encryption key. This is misleading and not only dangerous, highly irresponsible at best.
Please do something to make clear that connections to desktop clients are not encrypted, otherwise I have to assume the worst.
