total_tests and new_tests columns error

There is a problem with the total_cases and new_cases columns when i import the csv with read_csv as a link in r. all rows are blank.
But when i directly download the csv file, the columns have data. Kindly check on this

If I understand correctly, the complete sample code would be:

library(tidyverse)
dt_COVID_19_owid_raw <- read_csv('https://covid.ourworldindata.org/data/owid-covid-data.csv')

If so, this is working fine on my end.

Columns total_cases and new_cases seem to be correct.

Could you please try to first download the file locally and then read it from disk? It might be an issue with your connection.

Sorry i confused the columns. The columns with an issue are new_tests and total tests.

When summing the columns it gives zero value. meaning the columns have no data. But when i download the file locally and then read it from disk the columns have data.
