Owntrack new and old JSON

Dear Developer

It seems that the old (some years ago) field of the published JSON data is different. In the past there was the filed "event" which could assume the "enter" value in a region and the field "desc" (in my case Casa). However I don't see the same file in the present JSON. Is it changed something in the meantime ?

What you are referring to are so-called "events" which are emitted when the device detects a transition ("enter" / "leave") from a configured region.

If you configure a region in the app and the app detects the transition, that is when JSON of "_type" : "_event" will be published with the fields you mention.

The JSON you've shown is a normal _type: location which was transmitted over Wifi (conn: w).
