Empty model responses cause validation errors

Using all the recommended stuff from the readme and whatnot. This happens almost without fail about 30-ish minutes into any attempt using only generated actions. Custom actions also return this error whenever it appears. I also noticed it'll never say "Narrating" like with previous responses, it'll just skip over to checking for a location change and generating actions.

I know this isn't a very descriptive issue report but I'm honestly not sure what went wrong. If I need to provide any more details I can since this seems reproduceable on my end.

Likely related to #26. It appears that string length constraints are not always respected by the inference engine.

Alright. After running a few attempts again, it seems right before it throws this error the narration from the previous step will just abruptly stop mid sentence. Usually the error will show up right afterwards if I try to use the new three presented actions.

Thanks for the update. Please enable logParams and logResponses (using the state debugger, top right corner). Then reproduce the error, open your browser console, and paste its last few messages into a Gist. Then go to the storage view in your browser dev tools, go to "Local Storage", and copy and paste the entire contents of the state key into another Gist.

Note that this will expose your game history and connection parameters (including the API key, if any), so you should only do it with a throwaway session initiated for the purpose of debugging, and manually purge the output of any identifying information before pasting it.

I have tried on two attempts to copy the state key as you said, but it's like it only has part of it? It looks like it gets cut off part way through the description of one of the first batches of characters. CTRL C + CTRL V doesn't reveal any text past this.

EDIT: Best I found was opening all the dropdowns and copying everything there. Probably not what you want but I figured I'd try something.

Ok. From the information you provided, it appears that the LLM doesn't generate any content (empty response) despite being instructed to do so. This is basically the model's fault for completely ignoring instructions, but Waidrin should handle this more gracefully in the UI.
