There's a mod called FastWorkbench that essentially caches the recipe you are crafting and then checks if the items are the same each time you craft again, so that when stack crafting it doesn't search the entire recipe registry for each item. Could you implement an algorithm similar to this so that when I spam craft stacks of terrasteel blocks my game doesn't lag out.
