By any chance, would it be possible to include an equivalent of the Mastodon web UI option "Enable quick boosting"?
What it does: When enabled, clicking on the Boost icon will immediately boost instead of opening the boost/quote dropdown menu. Relocates the quoting action to the (Options) menu.
